We returned to Sequoia National Park for a second day. There is so much to see and we wanted to make it over to King’s Canyon National Park as well. They are adjacent to each other. We saw some spectacular scenery.
My, what a big pine cone you have!
My parents.
If you remember our trip to Yellowstone, we like rivers. This is me and my dad.

The girls. Jonalyn couldn’t get down there. It was rather steep and rocky.
Grizzly Falls. This was pretty neat!
Big Stump. No, that’s what it’s called!
A really big stump! These trees were cut in the 1880s. The lumberjacks discovered that when the trees hit the ground, they splintered, making the wood good for very little.
It was another amazing day. We had a wonderful time. We didn’t get very far into King’s Canyon because the road was close for construction. Guess we have to go back one of these days!
