Outside my window…it is bright blue sunshine, though still very cold. Winter hasn’t let go of it’s grip on Wisconsin. Yet.
I am thinking…about the two sequels to the book I am editing. I need to submit ideas for these along with my manuscript to the editor.
I am thankful for…my husband who is so good to me. I had to work long on Friday and even go in on Saturday, plus get some heavy duty editing done. He made dinner on Friday night and he and the kids cleaned the house for me. I’m blessed to have him in my life.
From the learning rooms…it is exam week, so there will be lots of studying going on. Last week was weird because of our trip, but this should be a normal week. I hope to arrange a field trip to a Civil War museum because Brian is studying that in history. Maybe my sister will be able to meet us.
From the kitchen…something quick and easy. I don’t have a lot of time to cook this week.
I am wearing…same old, same old. One of these days it will warm up and I’ll be able to wear something else.
I am creating…a proposal to send to my agent along with my manuscript. No time to work on my afghan or scrapbook this week.
I am going…to start an online writing class this week.
I am reading…well, I finished reading “Love Finds You in Miracle, Kentucky” by Andrea Boeshaar. Excellent book. My review: Following a failed relationship, Meg moves to Miracle, Kentucky, to live with her grandmother and teach school. Wheelchair bound eight year old Cammy captures her heart, but can she trust Cammy’s widowed father? Or is he just another smooth-talking womanizer? And when they differ over an experimental procedure that might help Cammy walk again, will they lose their chance at love? Andrea Boeshaar creates strong, well developed characters into a charming story about the healing power of love. As always, her stories are gentle and sweet. I highly recommend it.

I am hoping…to get my proposal into my agent this week. That means it will be a busy, busy week.
I am hearing…Alyssa turning pages in her book, the whoosh of the heat through the vents.
Around the house…all is quiet for the moment. I’m sure that will change later on.
One of my favorite things…is getting a project done that you’ve been working on for a long time. Hopefully I will get to experience that feeling this week.
A few plans for the rest of the week: piano lessons, co-op, a trip to the library, Brian & Alyssa have doctor’s appointments, homeschool gym & swim, a haircut, work, work, work. I’ll be so glad when it is over!!
Here is picture thought I am sharing…
This is the clearing in our woods on our property I’m trying to convince my husband would be a good spot to build our log cabin when we retire. This would be looking at the side of the house. The views out the front and back would be spectacular. Unfortunately, it’s sort of at the back of the property and we’d have to have a looooong driveway and cut down a lot of trees to put it in.

Please promise me you’ll make a Kindle version of your book (Amazon’s e-reader)! It’s how I do most of my reading nowadays and I love to see new books become available!
