I’m thankful for being tired at the end of the day. Hopefully, it means I’m tired because I’ve put in a good day’s work. I’ve accomplished something in my life. Not necessarily lasting – those bathroom sinks I cleaned today will be covered in fluorescent blue toothpaste before I go to bed – but something. It means that I have a strong body to do the work. And that in and of itself is something to be thankful for.
That’s it. Nothing profound. Because I’m tired and I still have one bathroom left to clean and a pile of laundry to fold.
