I did make it over the first set of mountains – more to go. They are beautiful. The east side of Wyoming is lovely – undulating hills, trees, green. The mountains are gorgeous – what I saw of them, anyway đ They are covered in pine trees and flowers. At one point there was snow on the ground. We didn’t get a picture of that, unfortunately. The west side of the mountains reminds me very much of Arizona – dry, barren, no trees.
I do like the little town we’re in now. We’re stopping here for two days on the way home and I hope to get some shopping in then.
This morning we stopped at Wall Drug. The boys were bored with it, but there was a lot of good shopping there, too. I plan to stop there on the way home, too.
Well, it’s getting late now and I’m tired. On to Yellowstone tomorrow. The car started this morning, obviously đ Pray that it will tomorrow and that I’ll be able to enjoy God’s creation safely.
