Yesterday, we had a great time getting together with three other families who adopted boys from the same orphanage as Jonalyn. She was gone by the time they were born, just by a few months. They are all 2 1/2 now. Wow, I forgot how energetic 2 1/2 year old boys are!! But it was a great time. Because Jonalyn is their cognitive peer, she got along great with them. Alyssa was fabulous, playing with all the kids. If we lived closer to any of them, she’d be in great demand as a babysitter. She’s ready to move! One of the families is ready for #2 and another for #3. I wish them all well. Hopefully we will be able to do this again very soon. It’s so nice to be able to connect with others who have similar experiences to yours.
