Woops, I missed yesterday. I just needed a little time to get refreshed and to recuperate. Yesterday’s thankfulness would be I’m thankful for the time I had to recharge a little bit.

Today, I’m thankful for Jonalyn. She sure keeps us smiling around here. She’s never down (not for long, anyway) and she doesn’t want anyone else to be sad. Here’s a conversation I had with her earlier in the week.

J: (while holding her stomach) My egg, my egg (leg).
L: That’s your tummy. What’s the matter?
J: (very matter-of factly, like I should have known this) I don’t know. I can’t see.
