No, not that little Chinese boy who has stolen my heart š but the wonderful Dutch man I met with a few weeks ago. He’s been so sweet to me. He called me the day after I met with him to thank me for meeting with him. He had to tell me something he had forgotten.
Last week, I finally got a thank you note off to him along with some materials he had lent me. I didn’t want to have anything happen to them and was glad to hear they got back to him in one piece. He thanked me for returning it and we had a wonderful chat about lots of things, some not even about the war. I’ve made a new friend and so I’m going to adopt him. He’s a sweet old man who is a little bit lonely, I think. Isn’t it amazing the friends the Lord brings into your life?! (and that includes all of you)

Hi Liz –
My name is Danyel Anderson. My husband and I are adopting a little girl with special needs from Thailand. When I was looking for resources, I came across your site, and it has been very informative.
Anyhow, to raise funds towards our adoption we are selling “Superman Was Adopted” T-shirts on our blog (www.andersonland.blogspot.com) and I thought you might be interested. Please feel free to forward this blog to anyone else you think might enjoy these T-shirts. We are travelling in April, so we are only selling these shirts until March 5th.
Thanks and have a blessed day!
Danyel

That’s so nice, Liz! I am sometimes so amazed at the way the Lord brings people into my life – even through blogging š
I’m glad the two of you have the chance to touch each others’ life.

That is really neat, Liz. I am sure it meant so much to him to have that connection with you and the talk about the old days for him (if not the good old days). I agree – the relationships we make today, facilitated by the internet, are miracles.
