…and my get-up-and-go has got up and gone. But yesterday I did finish the first round of edits on my WWII book. The characters have come to life, the setting is real, the story makes sense (I hope), and I’ve made my critique partners laugh and cry. Woo hoo!!! More editing to do, but the worst is done, so I bought myself a Dove chocolate bar. Hmmm, must finish editing more often.
And it’s snowing. Again. It wasn’t supposed to, but I just looked out the window and the ground is white. Ugh. This is the never-ending winter. Maybe I should have rewarded myself with a trip to Hawaii instead of chocolate. Sure, NOW I think of it.
Come to Florida! We’re having an early spring this year.

Snow sounds so nice, but I suppose it’s different when you’ve lived with it all winter…
