Today’s post is brought to you by the letter E and…
Exercise.
I have to admit, I’m not a huge fan of it. Sure, I love to take a walk with my dog or in the woods when the weather is nice. I’m talking 70 and sunny. And power walking is good for clearing my mind and helping me think things through. I never regret exercising and I always feel better when I do. I guess it’s the doing part that’s hard. Getting all hot and sweaty is not something this princess likes. Yuck.
Unfortunately, I have come to that time in my life when everything is migrating south. You know what I mean. Gravity is having a field day with my body. I’m not enjoying this much at all. I know I’m fighting a losing battle. But today I bit the bullet and got on that old treadmill – it was much too hot to walk outside – and I did it. I walked two miles at a 4.0 with an incline of 3.0. And I do feel better. The trouble is, I’m going to have to do it again tomorrow. Ugh.
Exercise. Not my favorite E. O.K., here’s how I look when I exercise.

Yeah, you and me both, girlfriend. It is all I can do to get this bum out and walking each morning. I think we have the same love/hate relationship with exercise.

Oh boy, exercise isn’t my favourite E either! And I know all about your body migrating south… But I do enjoy a nice walk ๐

That’s not my favorite E either–such a necessary evil!

Ah, yes. Exercise. It’s not my favorite thing, but I don’t hate it. When I do exercise regularly I feel better for it and (sometimes) enjoy it. Consistency is the hard part for me. Thanks for a great reminder about an important “E”!

Exercise:( Oh boy. Should have known someone would bring that dreaded E word up. lol Good for you, though. I’m afraid all my stuff already up and moved south on me!

I understand about this “e” word! When I exercise, I get very sleepy so it seems counter productive.

I feel your pain. 5-1/2 years ago I determined that I would not reach my 35th birthday wearing my 7-year-old pregnancy flab. I embarked on a diet and exercise program I thought might kill me.
FF to today… the girl who was allergic to exercise, who didn’t run or jump or do aerobics, has completed Beachbody’s Insanity program twice.
To me, besides keeping off the 25+ pounds I got rid of, exercise is a way to crucify my flesh. And it completely changed my perspective on the possible and impossible!
Keep it up, girl! You can do it!

yah yah yah. I’ve gotta get back out walking. I’ve missed too many days this month. =[ Once I get out there, I love it. But until I’m out there I’m dreading it. Ridiculous. Really missing it…

Looks like you’re in good company on your walks ๐ I struggle with this exercise thing daily. Maybe I’ll give it another try tomorrow.
Fun post!

Yep, exercise. Love it or hate it, this is one E that’s not going away. Great blog and great A2Z4u&me post!!
