I’m not a huge techno geek. Probably not one at all, but some things are cool. Since our second computer died, it’s been tough to do anything on it at night or on the weekend. Sometimes I’m waiting for an email or need to write an email or blog post. Sometimes I want to read a book on my kindle for pc. Sometimes i want to watch a show online. No luck because either Brian needs the computer for school or Doug needs it to pay bills. I had determined to ask for an ereader for Christmas. Much to my surprise, i got one for Mother’s Day. I love my new gadget! I have a few free ebooks on it, have set it up for email and imternet, and have typed this post on it! Can you tell??

Gadgets can be great fun. Every once in a while, I’ll get a dud, but my new ereader isn’nt going to be one of them. My biggest flop (and there have been many) might have been my sweater shaver. It was supposed to shave the pills off your sweater. That didn’t work so well. Neither did the razor that was supposed to keep your hair from growing back for a few weeks. That one plain old hurt.
