Please keep our family in your prayers. Doug’s 99 year old grandmother is in end-of-life care.

She has lived a very full life. She raised two children, buried her husband and one of her children. Some of her great-grandchildren are grown.

When you think about it, she has lived in an amazing time in history from the early days of cars and flight to computers to tablets and cell phones. During her lifetime, two world wars were fought, as well as conflicts in Korea, Vietnam, the Gulf, Iraq and Afghanistan. She lived through the roaring 20s, the Great Depression, and the flower-power 60s.

Now the final scene of her life is being painted. She leaves the world a much different place than when she entered it. She has touched countless lives.

Then a new life will dawn for her. A new scene. An eternal scene. This one will never end.

We each have a choice what our eternal scene will look like. Will it be one of joy and praise or one of pain and suffering? Will you be joined to the Father forever or eternally cast away? Which will you choose?
