Years ago, Christmas shopping meant several trips to the mall and multiple trip to stores all around town. There was at least one major trip with a friend and one major trip with the family. It was fun. I loved it, though I hated the crowds.
Internet shopping has changed all of that, especially now that my kids aren’t playing with toys much anymore. And it’s good, because I don’t have the time to be running to the mall and spending days there like I used to. Many of the gifts I have this year, I’ve purchased online. And even those I’ve purchased in the store, I’ve searched for online. I know the store that has the item the cheapest and I know the store has it in stock. Voila! Christmas shopping made simple.
Does it sound bad that I don’t put as much effort into getting the gifts as I used to? It frees up time for me to do other things, such as decorate, bake and wrap. All good, right?
What kind of shopper are you – internet, stores, or a combination?
