Jonalyn is as cute as ever. Even when we’re having a tough day, she manages to get us to smile.
The first thing every morning, Jonalyn has to account for all of our family members. This is the conversation we had yesterday morning. FYI: Rocky is our cat and Kylie is our dog.
Jonalyn: Where is Dad?
Liz: At work. It’s just us girls here today. Except for Rocky. He’s a boy. But Kylie is a girl.
Jonalyn: No. Kylie a dog.
This morning I was talking to my mom and my cell phone. She had to come into the room – you guessed it – talking on her play cell phone. Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, right?
Today I told her she couldn’t play on her iPad until after lunch. She was dejected at my declaration. She walked over to where I was charging her iPad, then back to me. She said, “We eat now.” It
was 9:54 a.m. I was asked that about 5 times before [11:30]. As soon as lunch was over, she went directly to her iPad.
What are some of the funny things your kids or grandkids have said?
