I love Pinterest. It’s probably my favorite social media site. And I pin many, many things. Many more things than I will ever get to. Some of them have been big hits. Others – big misses.
Have you ever wondered whether a pin was worth pinning? Would the recipe turn out? Would it be easy enough for me to do?
Introducing: To Pin or Not to Pin
Save yourself some hassle and see if it’s worth pinning and, more importantly, whether it’s worth trying your hand at it.
I’m a plain and ordinary girl without any outstanding talents. I’m an average cook, try my hand at cake decorating, attempt to make my house look nice, putter in my garden. In other words, if I can succeed with these pins, so can you.
Our first one is broccoli bites. In general, my family doesn’t like broccoli. I can stomach it if it’s drown in cheese sauce. Not very healthy. And while serving the vegetable this way may not be the healthiest, it just might get your family to get some broccoli. It succeeded with mine.
It’s easy. Frozen broccoli, mashed. Bread crumbs. Egg. Soy cheese (cause I’m lactose intolerant. Regular cheese will work, too.)
Patty them into little cakes, dredge in flour, and bake.
Yummy. A hit in my house and well worth the effort (which wasn’t too much).
Here is the link to the original pin for the full recipe. It looks like the recipe has been around.
