As Jonalyn’s vocabulary expands, she is saying the cutest things. Her speech is clearer than ever.
Last week, while we were camping, one of Brian’s friends came in the camper for something. As he was leaving, Jonalyn said, “Bye.” He answered, “Bye.” No sooner did he shut the door than she turned to me and said, “See, the boys like me, Mom.” If she was a healthy almost 11 year old, I would be worried about her đ
The other day she told me a story, the first one she had ever told.
The cat is sitting by the door. “Meow, meow, I am hungry. I eat now.” The dog said, “Woof, woof.”
She has her mother’s storytelling skills, don’t you think?
What are some of the cute things your kids have said?
Susan says
Those are really cute stories. This phase is so fun, since it goes on for a while. Mine said so many fun(ny) things, with lots of wordplay mixed in. Some of their mispronunciations stick in my mind: Sweedeedee for seaweed, Paddyloops for lilypads, Setwet for sweater … and so many more.
