Thanks to my wonderful hubby and kids, I was able to spend the past three days at our cabin – sans internet, children or chores. Just me, my computer and my dog (I took her so I would have a watchdog).

I don’t think I have ever been alone that long. I did get so much work done. My edits for Snow on the Tulips are almost finished. What a relief. I have proven to myself that I can do it, and I have learned so much that hopefully next time I won’t have so many edits LOL!

The cabin makes a great writer’s retreat. Other than having to feed the fire, eat, go to the bathroom and feed the dog, all I had to do was write. And write I did. Yesterday I read the entire manuscript from beginning to end. Whew. At least I know that all my changes and rewrites fit in there and the manuscript flows.

I can’t wait for you all to read it!!
