Coincidence? Chance? You decide.

A couple of weeks ago, a writing friend and I got together for lunch. I gave the blessing and asked the Lord to use our writing to touch lives.

A good way into our time together a young woman came to our table. She had overheard our conversation and began talking to us. The first words out of her mouth? “I’m not a Christian, but…”

This gave us a great opening to share the gospel with her. I’d never done anything like that before. I talk about the Lord through my writing usually. While my friend spoke, I prayed and asked the Lord to open this young woman’s heart and for Him to give us the words to say.

He provided the courage. I was able to speak up and give some of my thoughts.

It was an amazing experience. I thank the Lord for the opportunity and continue to pray for the young woman.

It wasn’t chance or coincidence, but planned perfectly by the Lord. She didn’t walk away a Christian, but you never know how the Lord will water and grow the seeds you plant.
