The a2z letter for this week is F. Forget. Or better, forget not.
Will you ever forget where you were 11 years ago today? I had just dropped Brian off at school when we got the news about the first plane. I can show you the point I was in the school driveway. And the funny thing is, today I was almost at that exact spot at the same time. I can show you the spot on the road where I was when the second plane hit.
They were speaking on the radio today about how vivid memories still are of that day. People haven’t forgotten. I’ll never forget. As I drove home today, all those same feelings rushed back. I have not forgotten.
The pictures are from Shanksville, Pennsylvania, where Flight 93 crashed.
In this last picture, the white wall and mowed section mark the flight path of the airplane. The boulder at the end marks where the plane hit the ground.

We think alike today for our letter ‘f’. I will never forget where I was either. Or how the day made everyone around me more precious and how the country came together.

And mine is the same word, but totally opposite of what you said.
As Diana say people are precious.

I remember where I was, and how stunned to see the planes crash into the towers. You might be too young to remember the death of JFK, but that’s another location etched in my mind.
As for the country coming together, I remember clothing designs soon came out with “America” boldly written in applique or screen print. I still have and wear a red, white, and blue sweater bought for my mother months after the terrorist attack. Mom’s been gone since 2008 but the sweater lives on.
