As you may have noticed (or not LOL!) I’ve been away for the past ten days or so. That’s because this week’s Wonderful Word is REFRESHMENT.
Yes, we have been away and I chose not to blog during that time. I did some writing and brainstorming for my next book proposal, but I took it easy. I needed REFRESHMENT. We went to a water park overnight. I think the kids all had fun, but they agreed that next year we’ll go back to the park we always go to. It’s bigger and has more choices. I missed their wave pool and sun dome. (No, that picture isn’t of where we were. Only wishful thinking!)
For the next step in our REFRESHMENT, we went to our cabin. It took a while to unwind. I realized how exhausted I was. After a day or so, we got into the swing of things. It was REFRESHING to walk whenever I wanted to, to sit in front of the fire and read a book (finished two of them), to play ball outside with Jonalyn, to cook without time constraints.
We all need REFRESHMENT. God designed us for that and even commanded REFRESHMENT. Read or not week, here I come!
What have you done lately for REFRESHMENT? (I’ll post pictures once Doug gets a chance to download them off his camera.)
After you write your REFRESHMENT post, please link back here and share with all of us!

I need some refreshment too. I’m going up north this weekend to see my aunts’ and cousins’ art show. Just change it up a bit. Then it’s back to work on my book!
