READY…
because ready or not, the ACFW conference starts in about 1 1/2 hours. AAAAHHHHH!

Am I READY? I hope so. I have my pitch to editors ready to go. My bookmarks, business cards and one sheets (one sheet of paper with short descriptions of your books) are all READY to go.

But I’m nervous. My hand shook last night when I handed the front desk my credit card. This morning, I read Philippians 4:4-7. Pray that I would not be anxious. Pray that He will give me the peace that passes understanding, that I can enjoy this time, learn much, make new friends…and, O.K., He says to approach His throne with boldness, pray that I will get a contract out of this.

My briefcase is READY with pen, paper & water, my clothes unpacked and ironed, so I am READY.

In other notes, I have a view of the St. Louis arch from my room!! It is steps away from me. I stood for a while and watched the boats chug down the Mississippi. I’ll post pictures later.

READY or not, here I go!
