First off, Breezy Point Mom earned points with me for her correct answer to my question about a bubbler. A drinking fountain is a bubbler in SE Wisconsin. Congratulations. Your mom must have been from the Milwaukee area.
61. I don’t get how I have to tell the boys when I’m doing laundry so they can go to their drawers and pull out their dirty clothes. Clothes they would have worn if I hadn’t done laundry. To me, it’s black and white: dirty in the hamper, clean in the drawer.
62. My favorite time of day is morning. It’s a fresh day with a clean slate.
63. One of my favorite shows is MASH. I like Fraiser, too, and Amazing Race.
64. I’ve broken two bones (a toe and my wrist).
65. My favorite Bible passage is Romans [8:28]-39.
66. I love sitting in front of the fireplace on a fall or winter evening, listening to music and playing board games with my family.
67. I have quite a few houseplants, but I’m terrible at remembering to water them. They’re looking a little droopy right now.
68. I’m now on Twitter! Come follow me there. (@liztolsma)
69. I hate leaving things for the last minute.
70. I hate balancing the checkbook. It almost never balances and I’m always afraid it’s my fault.
Breezy Point Mom says
Liz, my Mom was born in 1923 and grew up in Manhattan, New York City. Bubbler might have been a commonly used word for fountain when she was a kid. You’d have to ask more folks who are in their upper 80s and 90s to be sure.
