Today’s post is brought to you by the letter B. And if A was for Alyssa, B has to be for…
He is macho on the outside, but if you get to really know him, you’ll find he’s softer on the inside. He loves cats. He turned me on to this new classical music that I really like. It’s called E. S. Posthumous. He has learned some Latin on his own, which I think is very cool.
Things are changing for him. This summer he’ll take driver’s ed (I MUST buy a bottle of hair color), he’s looking for a job and he is thinking about his future after high school. Only two years to go.
In these years he’s grown from this:

Oh, I love this photo sequence of Brian! That one of him with a tie in front of the sofa reminds me of Chips in a way. The older photos show me what I have to look forward to. Thanks for posting. I will have to look into this “posthumous” music you are referring to. He is such a handsome guy. Also, please be advised that my blog’s RSS feed is no longer in service since it has gone private. So, you will not be advised of when I write a new post. Which means you have to stop by and check – I am sorry about that. It has taken a serious chunk out of my traffic, and I don’t know what to do about it.

What a handsome fellow! It’s bittersweet, this raising of men, still being able to see the little one in those new, tough-guy bodies!

What a great “B” post! My son turns 18 in August. I so agree with you about where did the time go and how can that be possible! I loved the pictures.

I love the photos! Sniff sniff, I hate it when they grow up even though it’s what they are supposed to do. 🙂

They grow at warp speed, don’t they. Brian looks like a terrific young guy. Don’t worry about the hair color – just enjoy the ride and let him keep you young.

Never apologize about bragging on your kids:) It’s your blog and you can brag if you want to:) Awesome kid, sounds like to me. My baby just turned 18, graduated, and is practicing riding his dad’s motorcycle. ugh:) lol. We’re going to visit his college next week. I’ve been coloring my hair since our first child, by the way:) (He’s 29) lol
