I’m so thankful for my beautiful daughter Jonalyn. Three years ago on Friday she became our daughter. Those first months and years were terribly difficult, but we have been blessed beyond measure by her. She has grown and come such a long way in these three years. In many ways, she’s a different child than the one we met in the Philippines. Yes, some days – like today – we deal with the difficulties of having a special needs child. But when she greets you in the morning with a big smile and a hug, it’s all worth it. I’m thankful the Lord chose her to be my daughter.
