I am so thankful for Bethany Christian Services and the good work they do for orphans and families around the world and in the U.S. Our two youngest are “Bethany babies”. I had the opportunity to make a presentation to the adult Sunday school about adoption. The music on my power point didn’t work đ so I had to speak a little to fill the silence. No preparation! I must be getting better at speaking because I wasn’t even nervous.
I also had the opportunity to tell people about Bethany’s gift giving opportunities this Christmas. You all have someone in your life that has everything. They’re impossible to shop for. Log on to www.bethany.org and look at their gift guide. On someone’s behalf, you can give things ranging from shoes for a child in Guatemala to homes for families in Haiti. What a wonderful service they are providing.
There are thousands of children and families across the globe benefiting from Bethany’s work. Thank you, Lord, for the vision of two women more than 50 years ago and for all of the good work they have done over the decades.
Oh, by the way, my husband, who isn’t one to compliment people, told me I did a good job on my presentation!! He must have been sick LOL!
