I don’t have many pictures of the conference, but here are a few that I do have. I’m sorry I don’t have any of my agent. She’s beautiful, a classic southern woman. I only saw her briefly twice in the hall. Next time, maybe.

Here is the room we had. My thoughts on a fancy hotel: they charge for everything and don’t have the amenities of a Best W*stern or C*mfort Inn. No free wi-fi, no free breakfast, have to tip everyone for everything. And the beds were just as nice as the hotels I usually stay at.

My roommate. She was very sweet and we had a nice time together. Thanks for putting up with me, Melanie!

And finally, my critique partner “set” me up with these two wonderful ladies. We enjoyed a couple of very nice meals together and spent Saturday evening walking around the mall. Elaine and Jenny, you helped make my time in Indianapolis very enjoyable. Thanks for your company.
