I did make it over the first set of mountains – more to go. They are beautiful. The east side of Wyoming is lovely – undulating hills, trees, green. The mountains are gorgeous – what I saw of them, anyway They are covered in pine trees and flowers. At one point there was snow on the ground. We didn’t get a picture of that, unfortunately. The west side of the mountains reminds me very much of Arizona – dry, barren, no trees.
I do like the little town we’re in now. We’re stopping here for two days on the way home and I hope to get some shopping in then.
This morning we stopped at Wall Drug. The boys were bored with it, but there was a lot of good shopping there, too. I plan to stop there on the way home, too.
Well, it’s getting late now and I’m tired. On to Yellowstone tomorrow. The car started this morning, obviously Pray that it will tomorrow and that I’ll be able to enjoy God’s creation safely.
I am so excited to be reading your posts about this trip. We are going to drive to all these places in September!!!! I love your pictures. It makes me very excited. Keep on posting. I am hanging on every post.
