Outside my window…Cloudy, cold, lots of snow on the ground, but none falling from the sky. They say it’s going to warm up this week. I’ll believe it when I see it.
I am thinking…about what I might want for dinner.
I am thankful for…for Doug. Just for him being him and being here.
From the learning rooms…Carschool today. Alyssa started a new art class that took most of the morning. She said it was O.K., which I hope means she likes it. She did well and I’m glad she can learn some art basics, which she can’t learn from me!
From the kitchen…whatever jumps out at me from the meat case. Today is my birthday and I want something I really like but I don’t know exactly what I want.
I am creating…a calm, quite attitude. I hope.
I am wearing…my cuddle duds, an orange sweater, a fleece over that, my blue slippers and my ever-handy afghan.
I am reading…My Bible. It’s all I have time for.
I am hoping…that Brian does well on his exams this week. It’s been stressful getting him ready for them.
I am praying…for peace for my son’s heart.
I am going…to get gas, to the grocery store, to get Brian & Jonalyn from school.
Around the house…school books scattered around. Must clean those up. And must empty the dishwasher so I can put in the breakfast and lunch dishes.
I am hearing…the refrigerator humming, Alyssa asking to go to the library.
One of my favorite things…snowshoeing! I went in our yard Saturday and it was beautiful. It’s so much fun and so easy and relaxing.
A few plans for the rest of the week: piano lessons, work, hair cut, lots of phone calls to make. Busy, busy, busy.
Here is picture thought I am sharing: Me snowshoeing several years ago. I don’t use the poles anymore. I don’t really need them.

All of that snow!! Why does it have to be this cold herd with no snow?? I could tolerate it better with a little sprinkle of the white stuff.
