This is a David Austin rose. I love these roses. I had waited a long time for a yellow rose. This one is creamy. I have another that is brighter. You’ll have to wait for another day to see that one!
This is a conflower. I don’t know what the name of this is, but I love it. Doug took this picture and I think it’s so cool!
A Knockout rose. They are supposed to be very hearty and disease resistant. This hot pink one just stands out in my garden.
Othello David Austin rose. We had this at our first house and I fell in love with it. It almost looks like a peony. It has a wonderful old rose fragrance. Doug got this one for me for Christmas (sure, I had to wait until May before it arrived). One of the best gifts I got this year!
This is a Sundown (I think) coneflower. It was a little on the expesive side, but so worth it. It is beautiful and blooms from now until frost.
That’s it for now. I’ll be busy through the rest of the weekend due to the party for my parent’s 50th wedding anniversary. Today is cooking and the rest of the cleaning. Tomorrow my sisters begin arriving. Hence, Foto Friday on Thursday. I’ll post again when I get a chance.

Beautiful flowers. Can you come work in my yard, or at least tell me what to do?? 🙂
My roses have not bloomed this year because every time they are looking good, the stupid goats get out and EAT them!!! I have no idea what kind they are because they were my mother’s that I moved from her house when we moved here.
