FOR TODAY March 9, 2009
Outside my window…I was going to moan about the snow (again!) but then I went outside. A thin layer of fog hung above the ground, maybe 100 feet or so. It was beautiful. Somewhere, a huge flock of birds sang. I couldn’t see them but there must have been hundreds of them. God reminded me that each season is beautiful in its own way. And spring will come. He has promised!

I am thinking…about my dear friend. I really need to call her.
I am thankful for…a God who daily bears my burdens (from our sermon last night) and who daily reminds me of my blessings.
From the learning rooms…Brian is working on math and so is Alyssa. We are in the final quarter of school for the year. The home stretch.
From the kitchen…I don’t know about today, but yesterday we had venison roast (I don’t know what I did differently but it was delicious), Yukon gold mashed potatoes, beans, carrots, homemade rolls and chocolate pie.
I am wearing…a pretty sweatshirt covered with flowers.
I am creating…still working on that afghan. I helped Alyssa yesterday with a sampler she is working on.
I am going…to get caught up in my online class. Only one week and I’m already terribly behind. But I’m learning so much.
I am reading…lectures from my online class. No time for anything else right now.
I am hoping…to get a lot more followers. My blog is one of my marketing tools I listed in my proposal and the publisher isn’t going to be very impressed with my few followers. So sign up to follow me. There will be a special prize drawing for one of my followers, to be announced soon!
I am hearing…the heater, Alyssa tapping her pencil, Brian erasing.
Around the house…Everyone but the cat is downstairs in the classroom. If I leave the dog alone up there, she eats the cat food. Rocky had better eat while we are doing school or he’ll lose out!
One of my favorite things…a warm meal, chocolate and a steaming cup of tea on a cold March day.
A few plans for the rest of the week: I’m not sure. When I talk to my friend, I hope we can work something out. Otherwise, just the normal. Kylie does start dog training class tomorrow night. The first night is without her. Should be interesting.
Here is picture thought I am sharing…
O, to be a cat!

As I told Deb, it is 75 degrees here today! I am sitting in the swing with the laptop watching/listening to the boys play in the sandbox. Levi has eaten sand yet, so that’s a plus. However, Eli is telling him no, no constantly because he is dumping the sand onto the ground. 🙂 He’ll learn.
As far as followers…may I make mention of your quest on my blog? It might help! And I am sure that some others could do the same. We want to help you!

Don’t rub it in 🙂 I’m so jealous of your nice warm weather. Then again, I’d rather be here than there when July rolls around! Sounds like a perfectly wonderful day with your boys.
As far as followers…yes, yes, yes, feel free to mention my quest. Thanks for the help. I appreciate it so much!

Warm meal, CHOCOLATE and a cup of tea sound great to me too! It is a bit cold over here and am in need of some comfort food 😀
