Outside my window…who cares. I’m on vacation, inside a waterpark where it’s warm and balmy.
I am thinking…about not much of anything, for a change.
I am thankful for…the chance to get away. (Are you seeing a theme today?!)
From the learning rooms…we are on mid-winter break. We’re within 10 weeks of being done with school for the year, so after this we’ll probably keep at it until we are done.
From the kitchen…whatever I feel like ordering at the restaurant.
I am wearing…a bathing suit. Doesn’t look as good as it could, but I did manage to lose two pounds.
I am creating…a calm and peaceful spirit.
I am going…to try to do as little as possible
I am reading…a signed copy of “Love Finds You in Miracle, Kentucky” by my former agent and writing mentor Andrea Boeshaar. I’ll let you know how it is next week.
I am hoping…that time goes very slowly during the next 36 hours.
I am hearing…all the sounds of the water park – kids, water, laughter, fun.
Around the house…I’m sure the cat is enjoying this time sans kids and the dog.
One of my favorite things…is relaxing in a bathing suit in Wisconsin in February.
A few plans for the rest of the week: No. I refuse to think about the rest of the week. It will only spoil my vacation.
Here is picture thought I am sharing…I’ll share some pictures when we get home.
